SPEECH FROM THE CHAIRMAN, FOREIGN LINKS CAMPUS IFE NORTH, NIGERIA
The Foreign Links Campus, Ife North, Nigeria was established in the year 2008 with the establishment of College of Health Technology, Ile-ife. In 2010, the College of Education was established and it is now affiliated to Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma Nigeria for Degree Programmes. In 2012, School of Foreign Languages Arts and Sciences was established as A’ level non certificate Awarding School. It is created for the purpose of A’ level training with a uniqueness of adding second International Language such as French to the Advance level study basically to send successful students for Direct Entry in our partner Institutions in Foreign West African and Central African Universities such as Pan African University in The Republic of Benin and American International University in the Republic of Gambia etc. Recently, the A’level school has metamorphosed into IJMB centre in the Foreign Links Campus for the sake of Applicants that will seek Direct Entry into Nigeria Federal and State Universities with Government Approval.
The Foreign Links Campus by its combination of Colleges is the first Collegiate Tertiary Institution comprising of different Autonomous such as College of Education and College of Health Technology etc on the same Campus, it is a rare opportunity with wonderful Educational innovation. By 2016, The Foreign Links Campus had expanded to have approval for College of Nursing, from the Ministry of Education, Nigeria as well as The media College. The Foreign Links Campus have Foreign partner Institutions such as Deltas University College Ghana, to enjoy affiliation to Government University of Cape Coast, Ghana and also MAFLEKUMEN College of Health Sciences to enjoy affiliation to Government University of BUEA, Cameroon for students interested in B.Sc Nursing and B.Sc Medical Laboratory Sciences.
